The Wrongful Conviction & Injustice Association of Carleton, along with the Institute of Criminology & Criminal Justice and the Carleton University Student Activities Fund, will be holding a public event on cases of wrongful conviction. This event is entitled “Wrongful Conviction: Remembering Injustice” and will take place on Saturday, January 14 in Theatre B at Southam Hall from 4:00 to 6:30pm. This event is open to all members of the Carleton community to listen to the stories of two wrongfully convicted individuals- Jamie Nelson and Robert Baltovich. Each speaker will share their story of their experiences with the justice system. This will then be followed by a question and answer period. Admission is a voluntary donation to WCIAC.
