Practice LSAT scheduled for May 20
Posted by Eric Vallillee on 25/04/12 0 Comments

Writing the LSAT in June or planning to write it in the future? This is a great chance to write an actual, previously-administered LSAT under official test conditions to give you an idea of what to expect and help gauge your readiness for the real thing. As always, this practice test will be free for Law Society members. If you’re not a member, you’re still welcome to come and just remember to bring your $10! The test will be held in the new River Building at 10:45 am and we will confirm the specific room location closer to the test date.

This practice test will simulate the actual LSAT experience. Please bring pencils, erasers and a snack for the break.

Please reserve your spot below:

Posted by Eric Vallillee on 19/04/12 0 Comments

The results from the referendum on amending the constitution are in. The change has been approved by 75% of those who voted and CULSS is now the Carleton Law Society. The Executive thanks all members who took a moment this evening to vote online. Re-branding and transitional measures will be occurring over the new few weeks, and if there are any questions about how this change is being implemented, you may direct any questions to us at contact@carletonlawsociety.ca

Remember to VOTE tomorrow!
Posted by Eric Vallillee on 18/04/12 0 Comments

CULSS members will have the opportunity to discuss the proposed change of name for the Society (as outlined in the e-mail that was sent out last week) during an emergency general meeting in D492 Loeb at 4:00 pm. The referendum vote will follow directly after and secure electronic ballots will be sent out via e-mail to all CULSS members to ensure that in spite of the busy exam season, all members are able to participate in this decision. Make sure to check your inbox and VOTE!

If you would like to take part in the discussion on this matter prior to the vote, please come to the emergency general meeting.
