Capital Advantage Events

Carleton University students benefit from the “Capital Advantage” meaning that we’re close to a lot of important legal institutions which allows us to go for tours, trips and generally benefit from our proximity. We organize group tours of the Supreme Court, trips to Kingston for tours of the Kingston Penitentiary and Queen’s law school as well as many other unique opportunities for Law Society members. In addition to this, students often get the chance to learn from judges, lawyers, Justice Department employees and sometimes even government ministers (see photo)!

Events are posted to this site, the Facebook group and on Twitter so keep watching for the next one!

Have an idea for another great event or trip? Let us know!
