    1. Mock LSAT
      10:45 am – 3:00 pm

      Writing the LSAT in June or planning to write it in the future? This is a great chance to write an actual, previously-administered LSAT under official test conditions to give you an idea of what to expect and help gauge your readiness for the real thing. As always, this practice test will be free for Law Society members. If you’re not a member, you’re still welcome to come and just remember to bring your $10! The test will be held in the new River Building.

      This practice test will simulate the actual LSAT experience. Please bring pencils, erasers and a snack for the break.

      Are you an undergraduate looking for career direction and want to receive tips to prepare for your job search?

      All undergraduate students are welcome to attend, and will receive a certificate upon completion of the workshop.

      In this Certificate you will:

      • Learn about the steps of the career development cycle
      • Find out how to research and make career choices based on your personality type
      • Discover how to establish career decision making criteria and target your job search

      Registrants must complete the Type Focus personality inventory located in the Online Assessment Tools under the ’Resources’ tab of ’Career Centre’ prior to attending the workshop.

      Register for this session by logging in to Carleton Central and using the myCareer service. Contact Career Services if you need help using the registration system.

    1. OzTREKK – Study in Australia Fair (Toronto)

      The 7th annual OzTREKK – Study in Australia Fair is being hosted in Toronto on Sunday, June 3, 2012.OzTREKK Study in Australia Fair

      The extremely popular event attracts Canadian students from right across the country, making it the largest Study in Australia specific fair of its kind in Canada.

      OzTREKK’s eight Australian universities all participate in the event, sending staff from Australia to Toronto to advise over 350 students and parents of their study options in Australia.

      Parking is available at Hart House Circle. The cost of parking is $7.00 for the day.

      If you are taking the subway, the closest stops are Queen’s Park (corner of College Street and University Avenue) and Museum (Queen’s Park and Charles Street West).
